Teachers from around the United States were selected to become ATTEC (Advanced Technology Environmental and Energy Center)Fellows for a 12 day trip to Alaska. We were charged with developing curriculum for virtual field trips through Google Earth. This is the blog of our trip.

Dog Carrier
I saw this dog carrier in the parking lot behind our classroom building. I thought it was a truck for animal control--dummy me. Someone told me it was for transporting sled dogs for the Iditarod.
